Welcome to NACSA

The Aims and Objectives of NACSA

  1. To relieve poverty among family members and families, in particular by the provision of an advice and information service for those unable to access such resources.
  2. To promote, protect and preserve the good health both mental and physical, of family members and families.
  3. To advance public education in and promote research into psychological, legal, medical and other problems and experiences of family members and families and to disseminate the useful results of such research (which may lead to the repeal of the current child support act and its agency, bringing about a more fair and equitable child support system).

To achieve these NACSA has or is in the process of providing the following:

  1. The provision of a dedicated telephone help-line service
  2. To provide a counselling service
  3. To provide information and links to callers
  4. To provide advice
  5. To provide assistance to any family member or their families in receiving equitable treatment.

Campaign so far...

NACSA offer support and guidance to clients to help them fight the injustices of a failing child support system.

The bulk of our time is dedicated to specific casework, but NACSA do also have a campaign element. We not only campaign against certain aspects of the current CS legislation, but we also fight for a system of child support that is fair, workable and that promotes good parenting.

Many MPs are not aware of the full working practises of the agency. It is only when issues are highlighted by NACSA or individual constituents that we have the opportunity for questions to be asked in the House of Commons.

Remember, your MP delivered the CSA… only they can vote it out!

You must write to your MP and complain about CSA and how they deal with your case.

The Child Support system should have the interests of the child as its prime focus.  It should recognize the importance of BOTH parents in bringing up their children and treat them as equals • It should encourage them to sort out their own affairs • It should protect the interests of the state
