NACSA Child Maintenance Arrangement Pack
With effect from 10.12.12 a third system of child support was introduced, which has many different features to the previous two schemes (both of which still remain in place at the time of writing). The new scheme, known as “The 2012 scheme” or “The Gross Income Scheme” or “CS3” seeks to promote good parenting by encouraging parents to make their own arrangements for child support. This is good news for many parents, who have long objected to State intervention – but there are many parents that still need the security and support of a Statutory Scheme.
To help parents decide if a private arrangement is suitable for them, or if an application to the Child Maintenance Service is still a necessity, we have created a small pack which includes a Family Based Arrangement Form that parents can use to formalise their arrangements.
