The Maintenance Direct pack
Parents who have an existing case with CS1 (1993 scheme) or CS2 (2003 scheme) are free to make their own arrangements for child maintenance payments without any detrimental effect to the PWC’s benefits. However, if such direct payments are made without the appropriate arrangements being registered with the CSA, problems can occur and payments can be disregarded. It is important that arrangements which involves payment being made directly to the PWC must be appropriately recorded with the CSA for security.
NACSA have created a simple statement that parents can sign to ensure that Maintenance Direct arrangements are correctly recorded with the CSA.
